Building Stronger Communities in Liberia

Building Stronger Communities in Liberia

Abacus Crown Enterprises is a Christian nonprofit serving children, families, and communities across Liberia through education, nutrition, sustainable agriculture, and community development.

About Us
A Legacy That Began in 1955

Our story began in 1955, when missionaries Robert and Sarah Flemister established a Christian mission in Liberia. Starting with undeveloped land, they built a school, a church, and a ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel through education, faith, and service.

Today, their son, Walter Flemister, is carrying that legacy forward. Inspired by his parents’ lifelong calling and a renewed vision after returning to Liberia, Walter is expanding the mission through Christian education, sustainable agriculture, and community development—with the goal of creating self-reliant communities that can thrive for generations.

Our Mission

Practical Solutions. Lasting Impact

Our mission is to serve individuals and communities facing challenges beyond their immediate ability to overcome. We identify real needs and respond with practical, lasting, and sustainable solutions that create meaningful change.

By combining Christian faith, quality education, sustainable agriculture, and community partnerships, we empower people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to support their families and build self-reliant communities for generations to come.

Why Liberia?
More Than a Mission Field - It’s Home

Liberia is where our story began.

Walter Flemister was born and raised on the mission his parents established, growing up alongside the very community the organization continues to serve today.

After returning to Liberia in 2024, he witnessed both the resilience of the people and the tremendous opportunity to restore and expand the mission. With over 500 acres of land, an established Christian school, and decades of trusted community relationships, we are uniquely positioned to create a lasting model of sustainable development.
